We're excited to share the Tekko's Tropical Voyage event schedule with you!

We've planned a great mix of panels, activities, and cosplay meetups, while leaving plenty of free time for you to enjoy everything else the cruise has to offer!

What to Expect:
🎭 Curated Tekko events and panels
🌊 Plenty of time to enjoy the ship's amenities (pools, slides, activities!)
🏝️ Freedom to explore ports at your own pace
🎮 Flexible schedule so you're not rushing from event to event
⏰ Some "TBD" slots - we're finalizing a few more surprises!

This is a cruise AND a convention - we want you to have the best of both worlds! Attend the events that interest you, and spend the rest of your time relaxing by the pool, exploring Nassau and CocoCay, trying the rock climbing wall, or just enjoying the ocean breeze.

🎴 TCG Players: Gaming Tables Available!

Calling all Trading Card Game enthusiasts! 🃏

Tables will be set up in the Caribbean Conference Room for TCG gaming throughout most of the cruise (when not in use for panels). Bring your decks and get ready to duel, battle, and trade!

Pro Tip: Check the schedule to see when the conference room is available for open gaming vs. scheduled panels. This is a great way to fill your free time and meet fellow players!

⚓ IMPORTANT: Complete Your Muster Drill Before the Ice Cream Social!

Before you dive into the fun, there's one mandatory safety requirement:

🚨 Please take the few minutes to check in at your muster station BEFORE the ice cream social! 🚨

Why This Matters:

✅ It's required by maritime law (everyone must complete it)
✅ It only takes a few minutes
✅ Getting it done early means you can fully enjoy the ice cream social without rushing
✅ Avoid the crowds by doing it right after boarding

How eMuster Works:

  1. Watch the safety video in the Royal Caribbean app

  2. Go to your assigned assembly station to check in with crew

  3. Get your muster completion confirmed

  4. Listen for the safety announcement

🛳️ Day 1 Onboard: What to Do When You Board

You've made it through security and you're finally on the ship! Now what?

First Things First:

1. Drop Off Your Carry-On (If Cabin is Ready)

  • Cabins are usually ready by 1:00 or 2:00 PM

  • If not ready, you can still explore!

2. Grab Lunch!

  • The Windjammer Buffet is open

  • Other casual dining venues are available

  • Food is ready as soon as you board!

3. Complete Your Muster Drill

  • Get it done early to avoid crowds

  • Required before you can enjoy ship activities

  • Takes only 5-10 minutes

4. Explore the Ship

  • Get your bearings while it's less crowded

  • Find key locations: dining rooms, pools, theaters, conference rooms

  • Take photos of deck maps or use the Royal Caribbean app for navigation

5. Check Out Activities

  • Embarkation day is great for popular activities (water slides, rock climbing, etc.)

  • Shorter lines than sea days!

🧭 How to Navigate the Ship Like a Pro

Understanding Ship Directions:

🔼 Forward (Bow) = Front of the ship
🔽 Aft (Stern) = Back of the ship
⬅️ Port = Left side (when facing forward)
➡️ Starboard = Right side (when facing forward)
🏢 Midship = Middle of the ship

Pro Navigation Tips:

✅ Deck numbers: Higher numbers = higher decks
✅ Cabin numbers: On Explorer of the Seas, rooms 500-700 are typically on port side, 200-400 on starboard. So, if your room is 7306, it would be on deck 7, midship, and on the starboard (right) side
✅ Visual cues: Often ships have visual cues in signage and carpeting to indicate, you're facing forward!
✅ Cabin numbers increase: As you walk, if numbers are going up, you're heading aft
✅ Use the app: Royal Caribbean app has ship maps and directions
✅ Elevators: Note which elevator bank you're near

🕘 Disembarkation between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM

🚨 CRITICAL PORT DAY REMINDERS:

All-Aboard Time is NON-NEGOTIABLE:
⚠️ The ship WILL leave without you if you're late!
⚠️ All-aboard time is typically 30-60 minutes BEFORE departure
⚠️ Set alarms and give yourself buffer time
⚠️ Factor in transportation time back to the ship

Port Day Tips:
✅ Bring your SeaPass card (room key) - you need it to get on/off the ship
✅ Bring valid ID (passport recommended)
✅ Always make sure your watch/phone are set to match SHIP time (though on this sailing we won’t cross time zones)
✅ Check the weather and dress accordingly
✅ Bring sunscreen, water, and cash (USD accepted in Bahamas)
✅ Know your ship's location at the port (sometimes there are multiple ships)
✅ Take a photo of your ship's name and dock location

💬 How to Stay Connected & Find Each Other Onboard

Here's the reality: You won't have cell service at sea! But don't worry, there are ways to stay connected.

📱 Royal Caribbean App Messaging (FREE!)

The Royal Caribbean app has a built-in chat feature that works WITHOUT a WiFi package!

How It Works:

  1. Download the Royal Caribbean app before you sail

  2. Once onboard, connect to the ship's Guest Wi-Fi

  3. Open the app and go to "Messages"

  4. Invite other cruisers to chat (they must accept)

  5. Message for free throughout the cruise!

Important Notes:
✅ Both people need the app installed
✅ You must be connected to the ship's Guest Wi-Fi
✅ Check the app periodically for new messages
✅ Works even without purchasing an internet package!

Since finding people on a big ship can be tricky, here are some suggested meeting spots:

📍 Pool Deck - During the day

Pro Tip: Use the Discord server and Facebook Group to coordinate meetup times and locations before you lose cell service!

🎭 Cosplay Reminders & Photo Meetups

Time to finalize those cosplay plans!

⚠️ FINAL WEAPON PROP WARNING:

We can't stress this enough:

🚫 Weapon replicas are NOT allowed - They WILL be confiscated at security
⚠️ Weapon-like props may not make it through - Even if obviously fake
✨ Bring alternative props - Foam, cardboard, or clearly non-threatening items
💡 When in doubt, leave it out!

Don't let a confiscated prop ruin your cosplay plans. Plan accordingly!
