DEADLINE ALERT: Pre-Cruise Hotel Group Rate Ends TOMORROW (February 22)!
If you haven't secured your pre-cruise hotel stay yet, this is your FINAL CHANCE! Our special group rates at Radisson Resort at the Port disappear after February 22, 2026 – that's TOMORROW!

Online check-in for Tekko's Tropical Voyage opens at MIDNIGHT on February 23, 2026!
This is when you'll be able to complete your Royal Caribbean check-in process and secure your preferred boarding time. Each guest in the reservation will need to complete check-in. App check-in is available up to the morning of embarkation, but early birds get the best boarding slots, so we recommend checking in as soon as it opens!
🛳️ What to Expect: Royal Caribbean's Check-In Process
New to cruising or need a refresher? Here's your step-by-step guide to online check-in:
When Check-In Opens:
Check-in opens 45 days before your cruise (that's midnight February 23 for us!)
You can check in via the Royal Caribbean app or their website. It's recommended to check in through the Royal Caribbean app, as it's generally considered the easiest and fastest method.
Must be completed no later than 3 days before sailing
What You'll Need:
📱 The Royal Caribbean app (download it now if you haven't!)
📧 Reservation confirmation number: This should be located on the booking invoices you received
👤 Personal Information: For each guest, you'll need their full name, date of birth, and contact information
🛂 Travel Documents: Passport or other valid identification documents for each guest
⚓ Crown & Anchor Society Membership: If you're a member, provide your membership number
💳 Onboard Expense Account: Credit card details for onboard purchases
📸 Passport Scanning: You can scan passports directly through the app to upload the information
🤳 Security Photo: You'll need to take a "selfie" security photo for each guest
🆘 Emergency Contact: Include emergency contact information (this should be someone not traveling with you)
The Step-by-Step Process:
Open the Royal Caribbean App and tap "Check-In" on the homepage
Scan your passport – the app will read your info automatically
Take a security selfie – this speeds up boarding day (no lines!)
Review and sign the Cruise Ticket Contract
Add emergency contact information
Set up your onboard payment method (expect an authorization hold similar to a hotel check-in, usually about $99)
Select your boarding time – earlier slots go fast!
Generate your SetSail Pass – this is your golden ticket to board!
Complete the health questionnaire that will become available 24-48 hours before the cruise
Pro Tips from Your Travel Advisor:

💡 Screenshot or save your SetSail Pass to your phone
💡 Make sure your passport photo is clear and readable
💡 Your “selfie” should be taken in front of a plain background

🎭 Cosplay & Packing Tips for Tekko's Tropical Voyage
This isn't just any cruise–it's an anime adventure at sea! Time to start thinking about your look:
Cosplay Considerations:
👘 Which characters are you bringing to life? Start planning your cosplay lineup now!
🧳 Pack smart: Remember, cabin space is limited–choose cosplays that pack well or can share accessories. Large or cumbersome props are not recommended and can result in crew asking it to be returned to the cabin.
🌊 Think tropical: Consider cosplays that work in warm, humid weather (you'll thank us later!)
📸 Photo ops galore: The ship has amazing backdrops–plan cosplays that photograph well
🎪 Check the schedule: Once onboard events are announced, you can plan which cosplay to wear when
⚠️ IMPORTANT SECURITY WARNING:
🚫 Weapon replicas are NOT allowed and will be confiscated at security–no exceptions!
⚡ Weapon-like props may not make it through security even if they're clearly fake–proceed with caution!
✨ Plan alternative props: Consider foam, cardboard, or clearly non-threatening alternatives that do not replicate weapon forms.
💡 When in doubt, leave it out: Just like going through TSA security for flights, cruise security is strict, and we don't want your amazing cosplay ruined because a prop gets confiscated!
Packing Essentials:
✅ Comfortable shoes (you'll be walking A LOT on the ship!)
✅ Sunscreen & after-sun care
✅ Cosplay repair kit (safety pins, fabric glue, needle & thread)
✅ Wig care supplies if needed
✅ Any special makeup or accessories for your cosplays
✅ Casual clothes for relaxing between events
✅ Swimwear for pool time
