🛂 Planning Tip: Passports

If you don’t already have a valid passport, now’s the time to get started! While U.S. citizens can sail on this cruise with an original or certified birth certificate and government-issued photo ID, a passport is strongly recommended for the best flexibility.

Why?

• If you need to fly home from a foreign port in an emergency, you must have a passport.

• Having one simplifies check-in, disembarkation re-entry, and makes international travel smoother.

Processing times vary and can be anywhere from four weeks to a couple months, so applying early avoids rush fees and stress.

Already have a passport? Check the expiration date–it should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date (through October 2026).

If you’re applying for your first passport (or replacing one issued more than 15 years ago), you’ll need an original or certified copy of your birth certificate as part of the application process.
