Tekko 2025 is almost here – happening later this week from July 17th to 20th – and we’re thrilled to be bringing a special panel all about Tekko’s Tropical Voyage to this year’s con!

Join us on Saturday, July 19th at 4:00 PM in Panel Room 2 for “Set Sail with Tekko! Cruise Announcement & Q&A.”

This panel is your chance to:

• Get the latest scoop on Tekko’s Tropical Voyage, our first-ever anime convention at sea, setting sail in 2026!

• Meet some of the team behind the cruise (including me, Elijah, your friendly travel advisor).

• Preview tropical teasers about what’s in store onboard.

• Ask any questions you have about the cruise, from booking details to what to expect.

Plus, we’ll be handing out exclusive Tekko’s Tropical Voyage ribbons to panel attendees! We may even have a few extra surprises or goodies to share (while supplies last).

You’re already booked and ready to sail, but this is also the perfect chance to invite any friends who might want to join you on this adventure! Bring them along to the panel so they can catch the excitement and get their questions answered too.

Last-Minute Tips for Tekko 2025!

Heading to the convention? Here are a few quick reminders to help you have a smooth and stress-free weekend:

1. Pack Smart: Double-check your essentials–badge registration, photo ID, comfortable walking shoes, chargers, and plenty of water/snacks for long days at the con. Cosplaying? Be sure you’ve packed all your accessories before heading out the door!

2. Plan Your Schedule Early: Popular panels and events fill up fast! Review the schedule ahead of time so you don’t miss your must-sees, including our Tekko’s Tropical Voyage panel!

3. Badge Pick-Up Tip: Arriving Thursday? Grab your badge early to skip the Friday rush! Registration is open from 12 PM to 8 PM on Thursday.

4. Stay Hydrated: July in Pittsburgh can be hot and humid – make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your energy up.

5. Bring Cash: While most vendors take cards, some artists or smaller sellers may be cash-only. Need cash? There is an ATM Located by the parking garage for the convention center.

6. Need a Break? There’s no shame in stepping away to recharge. Find a quiet corner or step outside for a bit of fresh air if the con hustle feels overwhelming. You can also visit the Tranquility Room, located on Floor 3 (river side) near the elevator and stairs to Floor 2.

7. Show Your Badge, Save Some Cash! Tekko attendees can enjoy exclusive Show Your Badge discounts at participating downtown Pittsburgh restaurants, bars, and local businesses all weekend long. Just flash your badge to receive the promo listed at each spot!
